Never test the depth of the water with both feet
Good Morning and welcome to this week’s chilly edition of INSPIRATIONAL TIDBITS. Up North, this kind of weather came months earlier than Florida, and it was always referred to as “football weather”. Only problem was that up there, “football weather” was always followed by “snow shoveling weather”. Count your Florida blessings, and enjoy these ‘bits that are courtesy of Charley.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.
It's always darkest before dawn. So, if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably a wise investment.
There are two theories about arguing with women. Neither one works.
Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.
Here’s one that just might be appropriate for the times:
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
Also appropriate is for you (yes, YOU) to enter the BRAINSQUEEZERS. Simple, rewarding, and free.

TIEBREAKER: About how long (in minutes) do humans exist as a single cell? 30 MINUTES
OBSCURE EXTRA BONUS QUESTION: What major river crosses the equator? THE CONGO RIVER
Triplets again!! Today it was another 3-way tie among Jim P, Charley and Juanita with 4 each - but it was JUANITA who won it, guessing the Tiebreaker exactly to the wipe out the competition (who guessed 7 and 3). TB answers ranged from 3 to 30 (I threw out the “one nanosecond” answer). Lane, Juanita and Maggie all apparently did their Geography homework at some point and were able to get the obscure question right. Lots of “Nile” and “Amazon” answers on that one, but my favorite answer was…The Rio Grande. Congrats to Juanita on the win today – see you for the Thanksgiving Edition next week.
