Complete Home Design for Value Engineering
LBB is the leading proponent and supplier of “complete house” design, in which architectural design, structural engineering and material costing process are conducted simultaneously. This approach results in seamless, total integration that brings new efficiency to the home building process – from concept to completion – and contains costs to achieve greater profitability at every stage.

Using AutoCAD ADT modeling software in the architectural design process allows our teams to work simultaneously on a project so that it’s completed in 30 days instead of 90 days – a 66 percent time savings for a faster ROI if LBB manages the entire process. Using LBB’s complete house design concept, home builders can reduce material usage by as much as 10 percent, and achieve an additional two- to eight-percent savings on the cost of materials.

Engineering Design Analysis
LBB’s 3-D engineering modeling permits quick, easy detection of – and solutions to – dimensional problems by providing accurate visualization of the entire project in a 3-D environment.

Our strategic partnership with Keymark Technologies provides our clients with a variety of value engineering processes to assist in the design of roof / floor trusses and wall panels. Clients also can receive geometric data, more accurate estimates, material take-offs and material lists.

Standard-Setting Services
As a total solutions provider, LBB can handle every aspect of your home building project. Services include:
     • Energy Star and NAHB Green Certification – LBB ensures that projects qualify for these
       environmentally conscious designations by meeting their strict design and construction
       requirements.
     • Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) – We provide comprehensive MEP service for
       seamless integration into the design, which is now a necessity to
       accommodate the increasing sophistication of MEP systems.

Inspections
To assist in the prompt and timely completion of your project, we offer a wide variety of inspection services from our licensed inspectors. To help ensure the smooth transition of your project from point to point, our quality control inspections include foundation and slab on grade, as well as lintel and vertical steel and rebar placement.

We conduct a final structural audit to check all life safety issues and the overall structural integrity of the building. Throughout the project, we will produce monthly reports to the contractor and local jurisdiction that include all site observations, testing agency reports and photographs, as well as a signed and sealed letter to summarize the progress of the structure.

A certificate of substantial completion will be issued after all audits have been completed and passed on a specific structure. In addition, a final certificate and documents as required by the contractor, local agencies and governmental authorities will be issued by licensed plan examiners for final building completion.
